Shobhna Mehta

Shobhna Mehta laid the first bricks of Kanchi Designs in the year 1999. With roots heavily embedded in the Indian culture she has worked across the world. She has put in relentless effort to achieve luxury in fabrics for home furnishings – converting the average textile product into an experience. She has a diverse experience working with furniture, textile, home fashion and much more. Her versatility reflect in her designs at Kanchi and she has constantly been evolving and setting trends in this field with her unique materials and patterns.

A fine arts graduate from Sir JJ school of Arts, she is a reputed visiting faculty frequently visiting Design Schools talking on Interior trends.

Kunal Mehta

Kunal Mehta, Managing Director & Principal Designer leads most of the departments of the company .He brings sophistication and elegance to Kanchi Designs. Having completed his masters in from University of Hertfordshire in London he is well versed with different cultures adding uniqueness to his designs. His inclination to build and design made him succeed in setting up a manufacturing base for weaving high end furnishing fabrics and exclusive furniture. His brilliance has taken Kanchi Designs to international markets.

His experience in designing and executing ranges from luxury hotels, high end residences and bungalows in India and abroad.  Kanchi is a one stop destination for extreme design. The mother-son duo’s relentless effort is to achieve luxury in fabrics for home furnishings – converting the average textile product into an experience.
