The perfect gin for the perfect negroni
VII Hills Italian Dry Gin have created a map of the best Negronis at London’s top bars for London Negroni Week, 4th – 10th June. Collaborating with seven bars across London, including the Holborn Dining Room, Galvin at Windows and the Four Seasons Hotel London Ten Trinity Square, each of the bars taking part will serve an Italian Negroni, using VII Hills Gin, and Londoners will be able to hit the dedicated Negroni trail in search of the perfect version of Italy’s most famous cocktail.
During London Negroni Week, Galvin at Windows, the Holborn Dining Room, the Cocktail Trading Company, Clarendon Cocktail Cellar/The Artist Residence, Goat in Fulham, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square and The Italian Job in Notting Hill will all be serving the VII Hills Perfect Negroni. Made using VII Hills Gin, campari and cocchi vermouth di torino, the glass is garnished with celery, a grapefruit wedge and thyme. The Negroni encapsulates the flavours of the seven botanicals used to distil the gin, which are taken from the seven hills on which, according to legend, ancient Rome was built.
In addition to the Perfect Negroni recipe being served at all the venues, the Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square, located in the heart of the city overlooking Tower Bridge, will be serving a different variation on the classic Negroni.
- La Dame de Pic will serve the French Connection Negroni (VII Hills, Vermouth Chinato and Campari with bergamot oil and cinnamon leaf)
- Mei Ume will stay true to its Asian influence and serve The Sakura Negroni (oolong tea infused VII Hills, Campari, Royal Tokaji, Dry Martini and a dash of angostura bitters)
- Rotunda Bar will serve The 20’s Negroni (VII Hills, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino and Campari foam)
Throughout the week some of the venues will be holding special VII Hills gin events, including an aperitivo night with live music, chicchetti and VII Hills Negronis at the Italian Job in Notting Hill on 6th June. The Goat in Fulham will be using VII Hills gin for their monthly gin class on June 6th.
