Embark on the Sensory Mr Fogg’s Grand Gin Tour

Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration is currently looking for ‘ginthusiasts’ to step forward and embark on an epic booze-filled adventure, with the newly launched Mr Fogg’s Grand Gin Tour. The experience will give guests the chance to delve deeper into the world of gin, discovering, learning and tasting gins from around the world, thanks to the Mr Fogg’s expert team of Society Ginstructors.

Boarding promptly every Tuesday from 7.01pm, the adventure will provide guests with an interactive masterclass which will shine a spotlight on some of the world’s best-loved gins, the history of the wonderful spirit, as well as sampling liquid libations along the way.

Beginning with a classic gin gimlet, guests will then embark on a sampling journey, tasting four exquisite gins, each containing a variety of botanicals from different corners of the globe, including Bombay Sapphire, Old Tom Gin, Whitley Neill Gin and Roku Gin. Mr Fogg’s team of Ginstructors will impart their knowledge on the gins’ idiosyncratic flavour profiles, discuss how their origin contributes to the taste, and advise the perfect pairing to balance ingredients with the spirit.

The adventure will last approximately one and a half hours and alongside the tipple tasting, travellers will learn how gin was first discovered and which continents grew with the centuries. Along the way, guests can also choose to add on a number of nibbles to enjoy including mezze boards of cured meats, cheeses and olives.

Travellers need not worry about going thirsty, as the journey will draw to close with one final beverage stop. Guests will be able to choose their favourite gin sampled during their tour, and make it into a bespoke Gin and Tonic, to toast the evening off in style before departing feeling utterly ginspired.
